and as i watch you disappear into the ground my one mistake was that I never let you down • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •There was screaming and fighting going on in one of the houses a few blocks away from the grave yard. "You were the biggest mistake of my life!" Masen yelled grabbing Maci by the hair of her head. "Your the reason your mother killed herself! She couldn't stand you!" He screamed, and pushed her against the wall. Masen has came home drunk and Maci just happened to be at the wrong place, at the wrong time. "Oh really? I thought she killed herself because of your drunk abusive ass!" She said calmly, but as soon as the words left her lips she knew that was a mistake. It happened all so fast, Masen's fist made contact with her face, and the next thing she knew she was laying on the floor in pool of her own blood.
She looked to the right of her, and Masen had passed out in his lazy boy chair, how long had she been out? Slowly she got up and looked down at her white tee shirt that was stained with her own blood, she made her way upstairs and into the bathroom. She looked in the mirror, her eye was black and there was a small gash on the back of her head, because when she fell, she hit the corner of a table and that's what bled so bad. She sighed and cleaned herself up, she changed clothes into a pair of dark wash jeans, a purple low cut shirt, and her leather jacket. She pulled on her combat boots and the sliver cross necklace her mother got her.
Maci knew where she was going, as she left the house and started for the grave yard, she'd heard stories about being out alone in this town after dark. But she didn't care, as far as she was concerned she could take care of her self. The lone 17 year old girl walked into the grave yard and went to one grave before stopping, "Mom." She spoke softly before falling to her knees infront of the tombstone crying. Her mother had been her best friend, and Maci had been the one to find her dead in the house. Her crying had caused her eyeliner to run down her face, and her make up covering up her black eye was gone. She rested her face in her hands, as her brown curls cascaded around her.
But Maci heard something, quickly she looked up just in time to see, well she wasn't sure what it was. It's forehead was ridged, and it had yellow eyes and long fangs. "What the hell?" She asked out loud, before getting to her feet. The thing lunged at her but she manged to do a spinning round house kick, the thing stumbled back some. Maci went to punch it, but it grabbed her hand and started squeezing. Then the thing pulled her to it, and sunk it's long sharp fangs into her neck, causing her to scream out in pain. so i'll waste my time and i'll burn my mind im miss nothing, im miss everything • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •tag;;Spikeoutfit;; Hereword count;;Uncountednotes;;Hope You Like It!lyrics;;Miss Nothing - The Pretty Reckless

Spike wanted to say that the sky was raining humdrum. It wasn't, in fact it wasn't raining at all, but he'd read that line earlier when he'd been stuck inside, in his crypt, down in the underground part to avoid being called upon by any of the kiddies. He wasn't avoiding them, per say...but they were kids, and they were grieving, yet they didn't expect him to be able to as well, yet he was. And even if they had come, and been nice, he wouldn't have been able to talk to them for long. Talking took energy, and energy required blood and since they'd stopped paying him (and despite being evil, he couldn't nag for money while they were longing for his Slayer to come back) he hadn't had enough of that. So he liked to conserve his energy for when he could get outside and kick some vampire ass.
Which was what he was doing now. He'd already enjoyed a tussle with three fledglings, playing with one for ages in a dance of a fight before finally staking it. And he'd only staked it because the sound of a scream had rang through the air. And then the smell of blood - a smell which made his stomach howl and his demon want to kill something. A smell which made him hate the tiny piece of silicon stuck inside his head even more for what it was doing to him. Oh, he didn't care about the scream. Killing demons was all well and fine, but stepping in just to save someone? Not bloody well likely. He was still evil. Sort of.
But it was the blood which made him stake that last fledge and turn, scenting the air before moving quickly in it's direction. If a vamp was feeding, perhaps he could get their in time for the human to have died, but for blood to still be left? Then he'd get some...fresh blood, right from the veins, something he hadn't had in so so long. Something he needed. He strode through the graveyard, faster and faster, before breaking into a run, jumping up and over the graves as if they weren't there, following the smell of the blood.
The feeding vampire came into sight - it's mouth latched onto the still pulsing neck of the human, and Spike grinned, continuing to move forward before leaping suddenly, landing behind the vampire and grabbing him by one shoulder with both hands, using his (no limited, due to the lack of blood and the slowly starving problem) strengh to throw the demon off the human. The vamp through several feet, he was quite pleased to note, and even rolled back into a crouch after it had landed, growling at him.
Fight or feed? Well, seeing as he could still hear a heartbeat from behind him...fight. He grinned. "Now then, matey. Didn't you mama teach you that's it's nice to share? Though, with your lug face, 'M guessing that she weren't up for teaching much," he smirked in satisifcation at the howl that brought forward and the lunging vampire which was running at him, Spike loved to fight, fight against anything, and actually, killing demons was quite a bit more fun than killing humans. Except he couldn't eat them. Which sucked. Unfortunately not literally. But his love for fighting, and skill, showed instantly the moment he leaped into action - a whirlwind of movements, jeers and taunts coming from him in his common english accent as he, basically, kick this demon's ass.
For the moment, the girl was forgotten. Actually, the blood he could smell only served to fuel his demon, and he took his anger at the injustness of the situation out on the vampire, toying with it. It didn't stand a chance.

and as i watch you disappear into the ground my one mistake was that I never let you down • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •Maci could feel the sucking on her neck cease, as the thing was threw off her. She stumbled forward slightly, she didn't lose much blood. Infact she lost more when she hit her head,so that was a good thing. She placed her hands on the wounds on her neck to try and stop her bleeding. Maci turned her head to look at her savior and watched him fight. She had to admit he was a good fighter, plus it was hot. But his words made her stand completely still. Share? Maci wasn't something that could be shared, she wasn't a meal that people passed around. But she stayed still, watching. She knew she should run, she should be smart and get out of here, run home. But she couldn't, she couldn't bring herself to move, just something about this guy made her want to stay.
She looked around and sat on a tombstone, she seen another one of those things coming for the back of the guy who'd saved her. "Watch out! One's behind you!" She yelled, warning him. Wait, why was she warning him? He just said that she could be shared, she shouldn't warn him. She just sat there, watching the fight until all that remained was the one man, she looked him her black eye visible "What the hell was those things?" She asked, her voice curious. Then she remembered what he said before, and looked him dead in the eyes. Her own showing no signs of fear, "About your little comment earlier, I'm not something that can be shared."
Maci flinched when she heard yelling, "MACI! MACI GET YOUR ASS HERE GIRL!" the yelling was from her father. Shortly after he came into view, and Maci turned, her father glared. "I punched you for a reason, and I find you here in the graveyard with some punk. what are you a whore now? Do I need to blacken your other eye?" He asked, Maci sighed and shook her head. "No." She spoke her voice low, he laughed and looked at Spike "I hope your paying her good. She's a whore just like her mother was." That done it, for a faint second Maci's eyes flashed red as she glared at her father, "Don't you dare say a word about my mom." She said and got up, she pulled back her fist and punched him, she heard bones cracking as his nose broke. She screamed in pain, "Bitch!" He grabbed her by her hair, "Don't even think of coming home! You can stay with your new friend over there." he pushed her to the ground and left. Maci slowly got up, she looked at Spike, still pissed over what her dad said to her mom.
"Are you gonna beat me? Or maybe kill me? God knows it would be better then my life." She said, her brown curls framing her face nicely, as she stared at him. She wasn't sure who he was, as it occurred to her she never found out his name. "What's your name anyway?" She asked.so i'll waste my time and i'll burn my mind im miss nothing, im miss everything • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •tag;;Spikeoutfit;; Hereword count;;Uncountednotes;;Thanks =)lyrics;;Miss Nothing - The Pretty Reckless

Spike was in his element. Fighting was what he did, what he had always done. Alright, before now, he'd just fought against humans and other vampires - always choosing the most feisty prey to snack upon. But he couldn't do anything like that now, not if he wanted to keep his head on his shoulders, and in one piece. The shout that one was behind him wasn't exactly helpful - Spike was an expert, he danced as he fought and was aware of everything. So he just ducked, then rolled, letting the new snarling vampire roll over him before his jumped back up, twisting, the laughed gleefully as he slammed the heel of his boots down onto the vamp's chest.
It was no wonder, really, that Slayer's were birds. If moves like that were so easy, wearing wooden high heels were something of an advantage. And...he was not considering them. Ew. No. Buffy had worn them...
He snarled, twisted, and rammed the snake into the body of the nearest on, letting the burning in his chest spread up through his arm and the stake and into the vampire's body. He liked to think it was that which made it explode into dust, despite obviously knowing otherwise.
Then it was over, and he sighed. How...boring. Digging in his pockets, he started looking for his cigarettes again. Smoking was good. Well, obviously not, but it wasn't going to kill him, was it? "That was something that would have shared you quite happily, for being an idiot and wandering around at night without anyone by your side." He drawled, rolling his eyes. Stupid humans. Always expecting to be rescued from being morons.
He raised an eyebrow, leaning back against a nearby tomb and just watched the confrontation. Ah, the lives of humans. So petty and stupid - rather like his own relationship with his 'family'. Angelus and Dru and Darla and everyone. And yet, so, so amusing. He could just watch with a grin on his face, lighting his cigarette nimbly with one hand. "You want my name, girly? Why on earth would I share that? Entertaining little display, by the way. No go on, get someone else. Inside, preferably."

and as i watch you disappear into the ground my one mistake was that I never let you down • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •Maci glared as he said that thing was something that would have shared her happily. She couldn't help but feel drawn to this man, although she didn't know why, he was just talking about sharing her with some monster type thing. He called her a idiot for being out at night, "Well excuse me, but I didn't think that something would try to kill me." She said mocking his British accent, with a surprisingly good interpretation of one. She sighed and sat on a tomb stone with her back to the man, some would say that this wasn't a good idea to sit with your back to a person you'd only just met, but Maci had a feeling that nothing would happen. She sighed and crossed her arms, "I don't know. Figured it would be the nice thing to do, I'm Maci. Tell me you name if you want. I don't really care." She said, softly. The wind blew, blowing her long brown hair in the wind, and causing her to shiver. She pulled her leather jacket together, "I've been wanting to punch him like that for a long time. Hell I want to kill him if I knew I could get away with it." She admitted, which was strange, she'd never admitted that to anyone.
She looked back at Spike, her icy blue eyes locking with his. "You just saw what went on between us. You think he's really going to let me back in the house? And all of my friends are probably out getting drunk or laid, so it looks like I'm wondering around." She explained. Maci knew very well that she had no where to go, to only thing she could do was wonder around until her father cooled down, or she could find some where else to stay. She looked down at the ground, digging her boots into the dirt. "Thanks for saving me." She said her voice low and sweet, almost like she was whispering it. so i'll waste my time and i'll burn my mind im miss nothing, im miss everything • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •tag;;Spikeoutfit;; Hereword count;;Uncountednotes;;Grr, Writers Blocklyrics;;Miss Nothing - The Pretty Reckless
