G E N E R A L . R U L E S
- First off, everyone be nice. This is a friendly site, with friendly people, and I don’t want to have to close it down due to different people arguing over different things. Treat other players nicely, with respect, and everyone will be fine. Arguments with be frowned upon and punished for. Arguments in character are fine (welcome – bringing a bit of character), as long as they stay in character and don’t get transferred to the OOC boards or the chat box.
- Don’t abuse the chatbox. Don’t spam, don’t advertise, and keep the language civil. Remember that it’s a luxury, and it can quite easily be taken away. Advertising should be done in the specified boards. Plotting is allowed in the CBox though xP
- Whilst not required, icons do make the site look prettier and help to flesh out your posts a little more looks-wise, so it is encouraged for you to get one for your character. Icons should be sized between 100x100px and 100x150px.
- Banners aren’t required either, but for the same reasons as icons, it’s nice to have them. Size should be no larger than 500x200px.
- Posting tables are allowed, but the main image should not be wider than 450px.
- Please remember to credit for graphics which aren’t your own.
- Constantly nagging for a certain person to RP with you, or pestering them to reply, is not allowed. Doing so will earn you a refraction – three strikes and you’re out.
- Keep to the rating. This site is PG16, which does give some leeway to ‘adult’ issues. The mention of sex, drugs and ‘tender’ issues (such as self harm, depression, alcoholism, etc) are permitted, but not in great detail, if you please. Violence and fights are allowed, as is non-consensual sex, but only with permission from all of the players involved (and not in great detail, in the latter case). Swearwords in character are permitted, but don’t overuse them. Swearing in the CBox is forbidden.
C H A R A C T E R . R U L E S
- This site welcomes both Original characters and Canon’s from both the shows BtVS and AtS. With original characters, making a mary-sue is not allowed, and your character will be rejected. They’re just annoying to play with.
- However, in conjunction with the above rule, currently this site has two slayers (Faith, and the newly called Slayer). If one of those was to die, or fall inactive, a new slot for a Slayer will open, but until they, only two Slayer's will be present on the site. This is subject to change, however, depending on how the plot progresses.
- One character per profile. The application for your character and all posts made by that character should be posted under that profile. The name you sign up with doesn’t matter – but as soon as your character is accepted, change the name to that of your character. Names should be written as names should be – capital letters at the start of each name. And the full name, please – first and last name.
- Please do not start role playing until your character has been accepted and you have filled in the Face Claim and Who Plays Who forms (found in their respective threads). The password for the Pending Applications board is ‘thunderclap’.
- Prettily designed Plot Pages are most welcome, as are any others. Relationship wise – It will be taken for granted that the canon relationships present up until the end of Series 5 BtVS are also present here, unless a character clearly states otherwise. This means that Willow and Tara would be taken to being together, unless the person who plays Willow (or Tara) wants otherwise.
